I painted this large, pink lotus as the central focus, letting it open outward in layers of soft, pointed petals. Around the lotus, I placed broad, green lily pads to help frame the flower. The background is a blend of blue and purple opal paint with subtle texture, which catches the light from different angles and gives it a slightly rippled, organic feel.
I wanted the painting to feel serene and natural, with the lotus standing out as a symbol of beauty and calm against the cool water and the deep, green leaves.
The edges of this artwork are painted, so no frame is required.
The painting is signed on the bottom, left side of the frame, and a certificate of authenticity is supplied.
