You asked - and we listened. Since launching The Online Art Gallery one of the most requested features from our artists has been a way to share a personal discount with their existing collectors without it applying storewide - and without cheapening the look of the platform for everyone else. The Artist Gift Certificate Program is our answer to that request.
Your personalised certificate works beautifully in two ways - print it and include it with every physical artwork you sell anywhere, or share it digitally via email or social media. However you choose to use it, the result is the same - your collectors receive a personal invitation to discover more of your work on The Online Art Gallery.
It is designed to encourage your collector to add to their collection, pass it on to a friend or family member who has admired their recent purchase, or share it with their own network - extending your reach further with every use.
The best part? You are in complete control. You choose your own discount percentage and create your own unique code - something personal and memorable like MICHELLE15 or MISHNIXON10. It is entirely yours to use and share however you choose.
Important to know
- Your certificate code is redeemable on your works only at The Online Art Gallery - not storewide
- The discount is shared proportionally between the artist and The Online Art Gallery in line with our standard commission structure - no one bears the full cost alone
- Your code can be used again and again - there is no limit on redemptions
- It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
- By default certificates do not expire unless requested by the artist
- Your certificate is delivered to your inbox as a ready-to-use file - print it on demand or share it digitally via email or social media
- You may request more than one certificate with different codes and discount rates - for example a different offer for your existing collectors versus friends and family of a recent buyer
- Unlike sitewide sale banners your discount code works quietly at checkout - keeping the presentation of your artwork clean, professional and full-priced for everyone else. No cheapening, no glaring sale tags - just a personal reward for the collectors who matter most to you
- We understand that not every artist is comfortable with discount codes - and that is perfectly fine. This program exists so that every artist can do it their own way, on their own terms
