Laughing Kookaburras on a Branch, limited edition print

The kookaburra is an Australian kingfisher with one heck of a laugh! Known as the “laughing kookaburra,” for its charismatic vocalizations, the kookaburra is an intriguing and unique species. With my backyard facing a golf course, I have a couple of kookaburras who frequent the tuart trees at the back of my house, and I particularly love the cackle one gives off when a golfer aims for his shot. It's almost suggesting the humiliation of a miss.  The birds are quite friendly and not afraid to come close to take a morsel of meat from my hand.
