My first painting of Willy Wagtails was commissioned by someone who said the birds had a special meaning for her. After losing a loved one a couple of Willy Wagtails started appearing in her window and she felt this was her partner saying he was still with her. I've since learned that other people believe this too and, I believe, for this reason, these have been my most successful paintings to date. To me, Willy Wagtails are special birds, they are cheeky, mischievous and very cute and I just love painting them. Only a limited number of prints available.
