This is a very textured artwork depicting a contemporary viewpoint of the famous Three Sisters rock formations in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales Australia, very much a tourist attraction and also a favourite subject of this local Artist. Christine has painted these “ladies” known by their local Aboriginal names Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedoo, in inks, watercolour and oils but on this occasion she used bold acrylics to create this contemporary scene.
It has received a gloss varnish finish and is ready to hang with gallery d-rings and wire at the rear and protective wall pads.
This is a hand-painted authentic original artwork. The Sisters Three has been officially recorded in the National Registry of Australian Art and Artists with the National Registration Number of 000-46936-0148-01.
