The first in a series of paintings exploring trees focusing mainly on the bark.
I often find myself fascinated by different tree trunks and would like to try painting as many as I can
I am especially drawn to the colour and texture.
I love the turquoise sky of this painting, although its a bit abstract and unrealistic, for me it provides the perfect background to highlight the colours of the tree trunks.
