The Anzac Bridge from Barangaroo

This work was inspired by the view from a friend’s high-rise apartment and painted en plein air. In the distance, the Anzac Bridge rises against the skyline, while an old pier, softened by surrounding autumn trees, anchors the mid-ground. In the foreground, a Sydney ferry glides across the water, adding movement and life. Together, these elements weave a dialogue between past and present, capturing the layered character and quiet vitality of Sydney’s harbour landscape.
