Tangled in Light

This is an original abstract consists of acrylic paint and oil pastel.'Tangled in Light' evokes a richly layered landscape where earth, flora and atmosphere dissolve into each other. Veils of plum, rose and ochre drift through textured markings, organic forms, cascading lines that suggest raindrops, roots, seed forms and the quiet movement of growth. This layered surface invites slow looking, revealing hidden details like a living ecosystem unfolding. This artwork is a refelction of the quiet joy I hold from the space around while living at the foothills of the Blue Mountians, NSW which has become a constant source of inspiration while bushwalking through the Australian Landscape.
