This artwork was painted with a acrylic pallet on a stretched canvas 76cmx 60.50cm with a depth of 1.5cm on a acrylic canvas and a protective coat of (gloss) varnish has been applied to seal the acrylic paints and ensure the work stays looking its best for a lifetime 

When painting swimming pool pieces, the underwater images are about light and reflections of the swimmer underneath the surface of the water, and trying to escape that scene of otherworldly freedom you experience when you are submerged underwater. My underwater paintings are without a doubt taking me on a journey . I hope they do for you . I’ve added a combination of boldness of design and intensity using vivid acrylics colours and creating movement of the water with sensuous curves , ripples and bubbles with the light flowing down her body when the sunshine hits the water above
