Numerous holidays on Rottnest Island make this one of my favourite subjects to paint. The Basin is especially favoured by families because the water is shallow and the bay is sheltered. It's also a great place for snorkeling.
The foreground features the reef surrounding the island, a favourite swimming and snorkeling spot for holidaymakers. The reef is highlighted by the surrounding turquoise waters and the sunlight plays upon the water.
This is a limited edition print with no more than 20 copies. It will suit a beach house or living area in your home and will remind you of pleasant holidays on Rottnest Island. It fits perfectly in a standard A3 frame.
