Riverbank Trees

In this painting I try to show not exact place, but feeling of being in nature. I am interested how light moves through trees, how water reflects colour, and how everything is always changing but still calm.

I do not paint details very precisely. Instead, I work with loose brushstrokes and let colour lead me. The trees are important for me—they create direction and structure, almost like they are guiding the viewer inside the painting. Warm tones of the trunks and cool greens and blues around them help me to create contrast and atmosphere.

For me, this work is between what I see and what I remember. It is more about impression than reality. I want the viewer to feel this quiet moment, maybe like a memory, and find something personal inside the landscape.
