We are fortunate to live in Western Australia and appreciate our wildlife. This is my abstract depiction of a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets (Trichoglossus moluccanus). Same are unmistakable with their bright reddish-orange beak, and beautiful, colourful plumage. They are social, active, and quite noisy birds that often travel together in pairs. They are territorial, and each pair defends its feeding and nesting area quite aggressively against other bird species. They chase off not only smaller birds but also larger birds too such as the Australian magpie.
