This painting was inspired by the breathtaking views of NSW coastline (Tathra beach). The artist was trying to depict moment of the weather change, when the sunny day may turn into rainy one, with the waves crashing into rocks. It painting is made with gesso impasto techniques in the underlayer and thick brushstrokes and use of palette knife on the top layer.
