NECKLACE AND EARRING SET - "PURPLE PASSION"

A unique bead embroidery jewellery design in this presentation.  An extremely time consuming design to translate from the imagination to the final creation.  A highly textural piece that shimmers and glimmers in the light.  Lots of swirling patterns as I have a predilection for the Circle of Life principle and this often appears in my works.  The central focal is a lovely wine purple shaded semi precious Regalite cabothon, along with the central top cabochon.  There are several vintage early 1950's German acrylic cabochons with their wonderfuly luminous appearance and some facetted glass rectangular cabochons.  Czechoslovakian beads finish this design as do a scattering of Swarovski pearls.  The necklace arms are purple agate.  I have made some matching earrings for "Purple Passion" which are composed of tiny Czechoslovakian seed beads and and yet more German vintage cabochons to match the necklace proper.  The edging is also comprised of Czechoslovakian beads.  The embroidery is backed with soft black Ultrasuede.  At just on $200 per metre, this is a marvellous backing that is present in all my bead embroidery designs.

DIMENSIONS:

Necklace central focal:  18 centimetres across at the widest part. 

19 centimetres down from the start of the necklace arms to the central part of the focal arrangement. 

Necklace arms:  Approximately 16 centimetres in length from the toggle clasp to the start of the focal arrangement.

EARRINGS:  Approximately 2.5 centimetres in diameter.  Earrings drop:  Approximately 4 centimetres.
