A highly creative bead embroidery necklace and earring set. Recently created for an exhibition and now availableon this wonderful site. Lovely semi precious Sea Sediment Jasper and Sesame Jasper cabochons have been connected as if each cabochon is an island. The necklace also contains semi precious Howlite rondelles and a variety of regular and metallic Czechoslovakian seed beads. There are also some Swarovski crystal bicones for added sparkle in between the floating "islands". The backing is soft Ultrasuede. Easy to use toggle clasp.
As with all my works, this is a highly representational piece that represents both the physical and emotional domains connecting me to my ancestral homeland.

NECKLACE ARMS: Approximately 20 centimetres in length (each arm)
CABOCHONS: Vary in size ranging from 3.5 centimetres across to 2 centimetres down.
EARRING LENGTH: Approximately 3.5 centimetres drop.
