In Tasmania's South West, Mount Field in summer comes alive with soft greens and dappled light. Fallen logs and scattered rocks rest quietly among the forest floor, while a gentle stream winds its way through the scene. A small waterfall trickles over the stones, adding a sense of calm and movement to the stillness of the bush.
Painted with a palette knife to capture the texture of the bush, "Mt Field Summer" is a little painting in oils from my series of "Little Aussie Gems", is an original painting and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. I do not produce prints or reproductions, so your painting is an original "one of a kind".
"Mt Field Summer" is framed ready to hand (no glass). The frame is a modern style black timber frame to suite any decor. Framed size: 18cm H x 23cm W.
