Mooloolaba Rocks

This painting was inspired by a tutorial by Rod Moore, depicting a view looking over the rocky short at Mooloolabe in Queensland. The brief was to use bolder brush marks and step out of your comfort zone. I paint many seascapes but have used a palette knife loosely on the rocks and generally used a looser style than many of my other paintings. I enjoyed adding the figures to the scene. The painting is ready to hang in a box shadow frame.
