Melbourne Aquarium is another painting in my series of Melbourne icons. The Aquarium is a distinctively styled building on the banks of the Yarra River. This view is taken from Southbank. I've used abstracted shapes to represent the buildings in the background in order to focus the eye on the Aquarium. The Yarra is perhaps a little browner than it usually is!
