Man in Blue

I have always been drawn to traditional and classical art styles, and when I did a Life Drawing workshop with a nude model, I knew what I wanted to master.  The human form is the ultimate in beauty and design, and the greatest challenge for an artist to capture on canvas.  Colours are also important to me, and I enjoy finding new combinations of harmonious colours for each painting.  This painting was done in mostly shades of blue, highlighting the masculine features.
