Don't you just love our iconic Magpie's?? Except in the Spring of course. But I love drawing them all year round and treasure the ones we have in our garden. Drawn using professional quality Polychromos coloured pencils on Art Spectrum blue pastel paper, brings out the magpies beautiful and distinctive colouring.  My rendition is based on a wonderful reference photo by Christine Vella.
