I visited a second hand shop in Port Elliot, South Australia. While I was chatting to the owner, he called out “lunch time” and all of a sudden, a whole flock of magpies came flying from all directions and landed on the grass waiting for him to throw them food. It was chaos!
Some of the magpies were getting annoyed with each other, while others were squawking and flapping their wings. Then I noticed there were more magpies sitting on the roof of the shop waiting for their turn to eat. I’d never seen so many magpies in one place.
