Lighthouse of Life Aquatica

50 × 40 cm
Acrylic & Mixed Media on Canvas | Original Artwork

Lighthouse of Life Aquatica explores water as a source of life, movement, guidance and connection.

At the heart of the composition, a lighthouse rises from a richly layered landscape of waterways, mountains and organic forms. It becomes a symbol of direction and resilience — a steady presence within an ever-changing natural environment.

Highly textured layers, sculptural surfaces and luminous gloss finishes bring the painting to life, creating a sense of movement and depth. The interplay of bold colour, texture and reflective surfaces echoes the rhythms of flowing water, erosion and growth, suggesting a landscape that is continually shaped and transformed.

Waterways weave through the composition like lifelines, connecting the natural and built environments. Architectural elements emerge and dissolve into the surrounding landscape, reflecting the idea that human life and nature are not separate, but continually influencing and shaping one another.

The work speaks to water not only as a physical force that sustains ecosystems, but also as an emotional and symbolic anchor — carrying stories of discovery, survival, renewal and movement.

Through its tactile surface and layered imagery, Lighthouse of Life Aquatica invites the viewer to pause and consider the waterways that connect us to the natural world, and the quiet forces that guide us through change.
