I have always been drawn to traditional and classical art styles, and when I did a Life Drawing workshop with a nude model, I knew what I wanted to master. The human form is the ultimate in beauty and design, and the greatest challenge for an artist to capture on canvas. Colours are also important to me, and I enjoy using new combinations of harmonious colours in each painting.
This painting features pale lilac and lavender; an elegant and feminine shade to complement the female figure. NB: On some devices the lavender background apepras more bluish that it actually is.
