This piece was inspired by a June visit to the Kimberley Coast, when the wattle was in full bloom. It captures the "settle season" when the heat lifts and the humidity clears. In this piece the earth transitions from the fiery heat of summer to the the hazy sky and the cooling indigo of the tide.
