Inspired by exploring the emotional impact of colour, ‘Imagined landscape in yellow’ was created by combining neutral paint colours with yellow.
The painting features an interaction of rays of sun with the clouds, illuminating the landscape below. As a symbol of joy and optimism within the landscape, the Australian native Desert Flame flower was chosen. To uplift the painting and provide a visual experience from varying viewpoints and within changing natural light, highlights of golden paint were incorporated.
