Inspired by exploring the emotional impact of colour, ‘Imagined landscape in orange’ was created by combining neutral paint colours with orange to evoke warmth and depth. The painting depicts a landscape reminiscent of the outback, with the golden sun setting behind the distant hills, casting a serene glow over the Pincushion Protea that was added. To uplift the painting and provide a visual experience from varying viewpoints and within changing natural light, highlights of golden paint were incorporated.
