Home, to me, is not just a place — it is a feeling of connection, memory, and belonging.

This painting captures the Frankston Waterfront Festival, where our foreshore comes alive during summer with colour, light, and celebration. The pier stretches out into the night sky as fireworks explode above the bay, reflecting across the water like fragments of joy and shared memories.

Living in Frankston, I have always been inspired by the beauty of the coastline and the way our community gathers beside it. During these festivals, families, friends, and visitors come together to celebrate everything that makes this place special. There is music, laughter, light, and a sense of unity that transforms the foreshore into something magical.

Through vivid colour and movement, I wanted to capture not only the spectacle of the fireworks, but also the warmth and spirit of community that makes Frankston feel like home to me.
