This piece was created using paint, screen print and collage.

Most of the collage elements are taken from test prints of a couple of my multi layered screen print experiments printed over the years. Cut up, reassembled and over painted to create this piece. Recycled magazine clippings have also been added. The layered collaged elements create a textured surface that would be impossible to create with just paint.

The piece is on stretched canvas and 2 coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop (particularly the fluoro pink) and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with painted edges so it is ready for your walls.
