Hands and Feet

I have always been drawn to traditional and classical art styles, and when I did a Life Drawing workshop with a nude model, I knew what I wanted to master.  The human form is the ultimate in beauty and design, and the greatest challenge for an artist to capture on canvas.  Accurately portraying the beauty of face, hands and feet is particularly rewarding for me.  Each painting is a unique adventure for me as I explore new and different colour combinations and techniques.  This painting has a silvery dark grey background with a slight metallic sheen in certain light.
