This very expressively painted watercolour was painted from a reference photo I took around Arkaroola, the wilderness sanctuary in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. The rock face was aglow with the sun's rays, while deep shadows suggested coolness at its base under the trees.
This painting will need framing behind glass and will look best behind a matt border as shown in the in situ images. Painted on A3 sized paper, this painting will fit many standard off the shelf frames.
