From The Beach

I painted this coastal scene to capture a quiet moment by the edge of the ocean. A tree-lined road you might follow to get away from it all. The palette I used leans toward soft, harmonious contrast to keep the mood tranquil and mildly nostalgic. There is an intentional simplicity as the image is less about a specific place and more about the sensation of a late afternoon coastal drive, the hush of the wind, the long shadows, and the open horizon.  A small moment of peaceful escape.  
The edges of this painting are painted, so no frame is required.
It is signed on the bottom left side of the frame and a certificate of authenticity is supplied.
