Fragments of a Memory

I woke up one morning with the strangest of feelings. A dream that I had woken from was still burning in my mind, but I couldn't remember the details. All I had was images - images that I knew I had to get on canvas as quickly as possible before they disappeared. This abstract work navigates the space between form and feeling, intention and instinct. Vibrant red masses, edged with yellow, suggest presence—bold, pulsing, and alive—while their diffuse boundaries resist confinement. They float within a field marked by gestural lines that drift like currents or quiet signals, forming an ambiguous system of connection. Though non-representational, the composition invites emotional interpretation—perhaps joy, urgency, disquiet, or warmth—leaving space for the viewer to not only share my experience, but to discover their own resonance within the visual rhythm.
