I have used intense saturated colours to give a Fauvist Pop Art approach to a classic morning meal of soft boiled eggs with buttered bread. I have used impasto in the yellow butter and spread it so the butter texture is on top of the painting. The elements are reduced to outlined flat blocks of vibrant colour. The painting would bring a modern style to a kitchen or eating area.
