Despondent

I have always been drawn to traditional and classical art styles, and when I did a Life Drawing workshop with a nude model, I knew what I wanted to master.  The human form is the ultimate in beauty and design, and the greatest challenge for an artist to capture on canvas.  Colours are also important to me, and I enjoy choosing different combinations of harmonious colours for each painting.  This one is done in shades of grey to express the mood of despondency.
