Cooroy Landscape, Queensland

I love this part of Queensland and I loved painting this rather dramatic art work.  I used my acrylic paints to get the main subject down on paper and then had fun putting on the charcoal.  I actually painted this fairly quickly.  Quicker than I usually paint as some of my other work can be a bit detailed.  And with the help of Dovrak Symphony No 9 "The Planets" it all came together.  This work is a stunning mixed media artwork which captures the serene beauty of Cooroy countryside with its rolling hills and lush greenery.  The mixed media adds depth and dimension bringing the artwork to life with its vibrant hues.  This painting would look lovely in a lounge or office.
