Catching Moments

"Life often has a way of catching us off guard. The unexpected arrives, plans unravel, and between uncertainty and calm we find ourselves flustered, anxious and struggling to find our balance.

The teeny sailboats in this new piece are a gentle reminder that we can't always control the waters we navigate or storms threatening overhead...but we can choose how we meet them. When the world feels restless and fleeting, there's beauty in pausing, finding our bearings, and allowing ourselves to be carried in the moment rather than being overwhelmed by it.

Sometimes, catching moments that unsettle us most are the very ones that force us to slow down, breathe deeper, and allow for strength, courage and resilience to grow.

Created with palette knives on high grade artist quality canvas, this artwork is framed in solid Oak and comes satin varnished. It will come with a COA with the artist statement written on the back.

Thank you for pausing to view my work.

NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which can be more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
