Carnaby Cockatoo original painting

This painting of a Carnaby Cockatoo was inspired by the plight of the black cockatoos which are becoming endangered in Western Australia as their habitat is overtaken and cleared for housing. A visit by Dean from Carnaby's Crusaders along with two of his birds, a Red-Tailed Cockatoo and a Carnaby Cockatoo, inspired me to paint this Carnaby to help raise awareness of their plight. The painting is on quality watercolour paper.
