The border town of Cockburn, SA is a must stop for those who love the isolation and its history many many years ago.
Funnily enough, I needed to stop for a toilet break only to find nothing was open. It felt like a ghost town with scattered empty buildings, old train relics and the Border Gate Cafe which was closed. As derelict and dad as it looked, it also felt beautiful and hauntingly colourful in a land so harsh and desolate.
So here's my colour and line version of the one popular Cafe on the border of NSW and SA next to the Barrier Hwy. As is on a bright, sunny Autumn day.... with no toilets!
PS:- it is open so so pop in for a drink or that toilet break!!
