This beautiful Black Cockatoo was inspired by a brilliant reference photo by Christine Vella. I absolutely love our cockatoos and drawing their feathers is an absolute joy. I created this using Faber Castell Pitt Matte Graphite pencils which have a unique ability to not have as much shine as a normal graphite pencil.
All materials will last a lifetime if framed behind uv glass.
