One of the worst sightings during the monitoring of the algae bloom were the above normal deaths of shorebirds. black Cormonts, Little penguins and Shearwaters were found on the beach during the winter months. This artwork was drawn over the period to alleviate the sadness and stress. We have lost so many species that we may never see again.
