Inspired by my weekend at my friends beach house at Carrickalinga, Fleurieu Peninsula SA. We walked on the beach and I said to them I see a painting so when I returned home I created an abstract take on what I saw. I have taken the photo in the sun to catch its textures. This painting I have used a softer palette of soft sky blues, pinks, turquoise, yellows and beige. This painting represents the sky, ocean and the reeds. Painted around the edges ready to hang.
