Bamboo

Bamboo plants are often associated with good luck and prosperity in many cultures. In Chinese culture, the bamboo is considered to be a symbol of strength, resilience, and grace, and is thought to bring good luck and positive energy to the home.
Symbolically, I wanted this piece to display resilience and flexibility. The new shoots and slender leaves point upward and outward, hinting at growth. The restraint of the palette and the quiet repetition of form were an intentional attempt to create a small meditative space, a pause where the eye can move slowly and the mind can rest.
This painting is signed on the back and a certificate of authenticity is supplied.
