Australian Botanicals 3

I take my inspiration from the Australian landscape. Our beautiful sage greens, terracotta, yellow tones that can be found in our foliage and wild flowers. It's so very therapeutic for me to paint shapes and patterns in this layered style., and this is present in the paintings I have created. All are unique and beautiful. All of the paintings from my Botanical series can be paired together, they will bring colour and beauty in any home or office space. My style is intuitive, I paint in the colours that I choose on the day, there is no plan I simply start painting on the canvas. This piece has a Retro feel to it. I love painting this way, makes me feel happy. Hope you enjoy this piece as much as lloved creating it.
