Love the Margaret Olley interiors paintings. This image is inspired by the one she did of her dining area but I have simplified and modernised it. I really love her use of that aqua green so I extended it in a lower key to the floor boards and created shabby chic distressed floorboards rather than the checkerboard linoleum used in her painting.
