This painting and its partner, which completes a diptych, was inspired by the wild animals I encountered on an African Safari in 2019. The reds and purples represent the colours of the sunset as the animals emerge from the shelter of the trees to drink at the waterholes. The acacia trees and running stream is typical of the African landscape. This painting is available as a single painting or with its partner at a reduced price if you buy both.
