A Valley in Blue is an abstract landscape creation where I explored using layers of marks and different textures to form rolling hills, valleys, flowing waterways, pahtways and wild flora that gently move in a rhythm, weaving and unfolding across the canvas. I wanted to celebrate the colour blue to bring a sense of calm and harmony amongst the earthy coloured palette inspired by the Australian landscape.Â
