This painting is of a park near my house where many families bring their children to play on the swings and to feed the swans and the ducks. It's one of the many wetlands in Western Australia and a popular spot for families and with people walking their dogs. It's possible to walk all the way around the lake. Many people stop to rest here on their walk as it's a quiet place to sit and contemplate and to listen to the wind in the trees.The ducks are quite tame and waddle up to people sitting on the bench.
