“A Little Birdy Told Me” is an original ink airbrushed and acrylic painting on stretched canvas from a series of paintings featuring women with their spirit protectors.

Teresa says, “In my childhood and teens, I was not always protected. This made me feel lost, unworthy and often-times ugly. This series was created to let women know that we are always protected by spirit animals – you just have to pay attention.”

This beautiful painting shows a woman in white, she feels alone and scared of what is to come, the white signifies purity and innocence. The European Bee Eater bird is her spirit protector. It represents joy, harmony and skilled mastery over challenges. It shows the ability to transform difficult situations into positive outcomes. They are also seen as a messenger connecting with the spiritual realm of industry and abundance with the natural world. So having this beautiful bird as her spirit protector means she is safe on every realm.

Each hair and feather were painted separately with love and intention.
