From the “Timeless” Series 2025-2026

“I love to explore the notion of time and question how time actually works and our place in it. “A Bloom In Time” is from my “Timeless” series and in this piece I explore the possibilities of the time vortex and the similarities with Alice In Wonderland and the rabbit hole.”

We see the roots of the tree that appear at the edge of the vortex or hole that she has just fallen into. She is no longer rooted in her normal reality.

The roses are not only indicitive of the Queen of Hearts, they also represent the gradual unfolding of spiritual wisdom and the human soul. They are associated with the divine feminine, healing and the heart chakra, signifying the soul’s journey, purity and the presence of angels - always good to know when falling through time.

There is a hidden caterpillar representing metamorphosis, a time of spiritual evolution and the shedding old habits.

“A Bloom In Time” is currently being exhibited as part of the Creative Hub initiative at the Robina Hospital as part of the International Womens Day Exhibition on the Gold Coast, Australia.
