A watercolour painting of the Yellow tailed Black Cockatoo flying in front of bright yellow foliage with a hint of a blue sky in the distance. I used the wet on wet technique for the background, on Fabriano 300gsm 100% cotton, hot press paper and decided to emphasis the colour yellow and suggest a bright sunny day.
These birds are found throughout Australia and are always amazing to see in the wild.
The artwork comes already matted with a double mat that enhances the colours in the painting. There is also the option of cropping and mounting the artwork to your own preferences when framing. The size indicated is the size of the image.
